Biography
Elias Fredericks is a Baltimore-based violinist, cellist, and music educator. Trained from a young age in both classical and folk traditions, he is passionate about helping students develop a love for a wide range of musical styles while building strong technical foundations.
Elias currently teaches through the Peabody Preparatory’s “Tuned-In” program, which provides free music education to low-income children in Baltimore City. He also teaches violin, piano, and ukulele to students of all ages through Charm City Music School and Lutherville Music School.
As a performer, Elias has appeared with ensembles across the country, including the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Music Center Orchestra, and the Ohio Light Opera Orchestra. He is currently completing his Master’s degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy at the Peabody Institute, studying under Professor Judith Ingolfsson.
